Industrial mechanic, fitter or mechatronics technician (m|f|d) for maintenance at the Stamm Feindrahtwerk in Iserlohn. Full-time, permanent, early shift.

Your tasks

  • You keep our production plants running: wire drawing machines, winders, spoolers, annealing and conveying technology.
  • You track down faults, find them and fix them — often under time pressure, always using your own judgement.
  • You take on the fitting and welding work that comes up in the plant: repairs, brackets, fixtures, pipework.
  • You manufacture spare and wear parts yourself in our workshop instead of waiting weeks for deliveries.
  • You carry out preventive maintenance and spot early signs of trouble.
  • You contribute to conversions and plant optimisations, feeding in what you notice in daily work.

Your profile

  • Completed apprenticeship in a metal trade, e.g. industrial mechanic, fitter, metal fabricator or construction mechanic.
  • Welding skills. Which process you master, we'll discuss in the interview — what matters is that you're confident in it.
  • You can read technical drawings and put them into practice.
  • Independent, careful and reliable way of working. In maintenance nobody looks over your shoulder constantly — and that's the point.
  • Helpful but not a dealbreaker: training as a mechatronics technician or basic electrical knowledge, experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, experience on production plants in the metalworking industry, forklift or crane licence.
  • You don't need experience in the wire industry. Nobody learns our plants at vocational school — we'll show you.

What we offer

  • A structured induction from an experienced colleague who knows our plants inside out.
  • A family-run, values-based company with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths.
  • An appreciative, people-focused leadership culture geared towards long-term collaboration.
  • An economically very stable corporate group that keeps developing steadily and with a view to the future.
  • Welding courses through the SIHK at our expense, including exam and certificate. If you master one process today, you'll learn the next one with us.
  • Career development opportunities within the company and the corporate group.
  • Attractive, performance-based pay.
  • The option of a job e-bike.
  • Above-average company pension scheme.
  • The option of a "short" Friday.
  • Free drinks and fruit.
